The most important decision you will ever make is what you do with Jesus Christ. The Bible makes the way of salvation plain. It is not about being good enough, joining a church, or keeping a list of rules — it is about trusting the One who died in your place.
1. We Have All Sinned
Every one of us has fallen short of God’s perfect standard. This is not about being worse than someone else — Scripture says it is true of all of us.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

2. Our Sin Has a Price
Sin is not a small thing. It separates us from a holy God, and the Bible is clear about what it earns.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

3. Christ Paid That Price for You
Here is the good news. God did not wait for us to clean ourselves up. He loved us while we were still sinners, and His Son took the punishment we deserved.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

4. Salvation Is a Gift — You Cannot Earn It
You cannot work your way to heaven. Salvation is a gift, received by faith, so that no one can boast in what he has done.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

5. Call Upon the Lord
God’s invitation is open to anyone who will come to Him in repentance and faith — believing that Jesus died for your sins and rose again.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

A Prayer of Faith
There are no magic words. It is not a prayer that saves you, but faith in Jesus Christ. Still, if you are ready to trust Him, you can call on Him from your heart right now:
“Lord, I know that I am a sinner and that my sin deserves judgment. I believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for me, was buried, and rose again. Right now I turn from my sin and trust Him alone to save me. Thank You for saving my soul. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
